Today’s review features a lipstick from Gorgeous Cosmetics!

Here we have a glossy, black lipstick case with beige writing of the company name: GORGEOUS COSMETICS.
The lipstick I’ll be reviewing today is in the shade VIXEN.
Gorgeous Cosmetics offers a huge selection of lipsticks– 30! A shade for everyone!!

As you can see, this is a swatch of the lipstick.
This is not a matte lipstick, it definitely goes on smoothly and has a slight gloss.
It’s a bold, burgundy-red lipstick. Definitely statement worthy & I think it’s perfect for the Fall/Winter.
**Tips to applying bold or bright lipsticks:
ALWAYS prep your lips with chap stick (aka lip balm) or even vaseline! It makes for a smooth application.

***Overall, I am in LOVE with the quality of Gorgeous Cosmetics lipsticks. So far, I’ve had so many compliments on MAN TRAP and I like VIXEN as well. Bold isn’t always my thing– but it’s definitely trending. So why don’t we just jump on the bandwagon for once & give bold colors a try? As for longevity, it lasted about 6-8 hours, applied at 8 in the morning & fully removed by around 4pm. It slowly starts to fade out. But for some reason, re-applying lip sticks or even lip glosses doesn’t bother me. Another tip: If you don’t have full lips, I suggest applying bold colors in front of a mirror, and cleaning it up with some concealer for a precise application. I have no upper lip (hahahaha), I know, so I tried my very best to bring you great swatches! I hope you’ll give this shade a try– or any other color from the line.
PROS: pigmented, 30 shades to choose from, longevity is great!
CONS: can be a tad pricy, but you get what you pay for!
