Today’s review features a lip pencil from City Color Cosmetics in Hot Pink!

So, I had never heard about this brand & I’m already impressed by the use of 1 product!
This is one of the 1st products I’ve tried out so far & I’m hooked!
This is the City Color Cosmetics lip pencil in Hot Pink and there are 12 shades total.
These lip pencils retail for only $1.99 for 1.35 grams of product.

I’m showing these pictures side by side for you to see that it’s a RETRACTABLE lip pencil.
Therefore, you don’t have to take time out to sharpen the pencil– just twist up.
And here the color swatched on my hand.
Hot Pink is a very bold pink– I think this color is perfect all year round, but a FALL must!
This is what my lips look like bare— and now let’s apply HOT PINK.
Here it is on my lips! It definitely applies like a lipstick, and you could definitely pair it up with a lip gloss.

Overall, I know that it can be really hard to find great products that fit your budget and are quality products. I can’t tell you all to not look anymore because I hear of a new brand or product every week! However, I really feel like this is an amazing product. I love the smooth texture! It’s not drying on my lips and the wear is perfect for me! I could apply make-up all day long, but with this pencil, I applied it in the afternoon around 3pm and started to see it fade after eating dinner around 9pm. As for scents, it smells like a cherry flavored airhead! I love the shade– I feel like it’s perfect for fall & I would definitely repurchase! I know it’s still October, but I feel like these lip pencils would make really great stocking stuffers for the holiday season!
